If you’re planning to visit the UAE in 2021, then I highly recommend you visit Abu Dhabi too. While Dubai is a known UAE travel destination, Abu Dhabi shouldn’t be missed. Are you wondering if Abu Dhabi is safe to travel to post covid-19 pandemic? Yes, it is absolutely safe. Tourists are allowed to enter the city, however, there are conditions that apply. And just in case you’re coming from Dubai to Abu Dhabi, you will need a PCR test 48 hours prior to entering Abu Dhabi.

Hudairiyat Island, Abu Dhabi

Hudairiyat Island is a thrilling Arabian travel must see. Be sure to add this jewel to your Hudairiyat Island is a brand new island and really massive. Like typical UAE, everything is large and lavish! Here, there are a lot of bike trails for running, jogging, and cycling. There is truly a lot to do here. Spending the day at Hudairiyat Island could be the perfect place to spend the entire day with your family and friends. I would totally recommend having a picnic here. We explored the Marsana part of the island where there is an obstacle course and lots of entertainment on the waterfront promenade. Theres a beautiful beach that isn’t very crowded. That’s what’s so amazing about traveling the UAE, there is so much rich culture heritage mixed with luxury and impeccable architecture. Qasr Al Hosn overlooked the coastal trade routes and protected the settlements on the island, serving as a watchtower to protect the The museum artefacts date back to 6000 B.C. It’s interesting as the routing family has changed the lives of the surrounding communities.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Abu Dhabi

This is one of the most impressive mosques in the UAE. One of the world’s largest mosques captures the synergy of Islam and the other world cultures. Visitors can come except during prayer time. The entrance is free, or free to roam as you please. Also, there is a free 25 minute guided tour if you want to take advantage to learn more about the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. I loved spending time here. It was a peaceful, serene and thought-provoking visit.

If you’re traveling to Abu Dhabi post covid-19 pandemic, it’s important to know that the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque doesn’t provide a free veil anymore. Plus, you must be conservatively dressed. Minimal exposure of skin, especially hair and feet. Before you could get something to wear, now not anymore. When visiting Mosques in the UAE, be sure to always check the clothing requirements. Especially if you’re visiting Abu Dhabi in 2021.

Wahat Al Karama is right beside the Grand mosque. From here, you can see unbelievable views of the Grand Mosque. This monumental mosque is truly GRAND. When we got to Wahat Al Karama, we realized there is much more than meets the eye. Wahat Al Karama is a UAE monument for all our fallen soldiers. In english, the name is translated to “Oasis of Dignity”. There are 31 massive tables that lean on each-other to symbolize the unity and solidarity and mutual support that mind of leadership of the service men and woman who protect them. The founding president of the UAE wrote out beautiful poetic verses on each tablet. When visiting Abu Dhabi, it’s neat to check out Wahat Al Karama. Ideally you want to visit in the evening to take the best pictures.

Travel Abu Dhabi 2021 Covid Restrictions

Abu Dhabi is open! You can absolutely travel here during the Covid-19 pandemic. But, there are restrictions that I was surprised about. Like, at the Grand Mosque, you must bring clothes that are loose and long to wear. I was surprised that you need to register online, they do not print out tickets. The museum was also paper-less, with tickets being emailed to our phones.
